I just wanted to let you know that we heard from Daniel. He received the boxes and said to make sure to tell you thanks. He shared the contents with his group. They were all very grateful.

Thanks for all you do.

George, I received a message from Tammy that Sam Pona received the boxes and passed along his thank you.  He said the contents were shared in his group and were scarfed up within 24 hours.  Unless you have been there, we just cannot realize how valuable these shipments are to our military families and friends.

I am awaiting word from Kyla that she received her shipment.

Thank you so much for what you do.  Betty

Thanks to everyone who helped with this shipment!

As long as our precious children are in harm’s way protecting us, showing them we care is the least we can do for them. Please, keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks from Master Sergeant Patrick J. Fanning

Dear Mr.  George Lauer and Friends,

I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the generous gifts given to me by your organization during my deployment.  My deployment is nearing the end none too soon in July.  Honestly, it was an unexpected surprise to receive these wonderful treats and items throughout the year!  In a way, I am humbled by the generosity of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.  I could tell that many people put lots of thought and care into preparing my packages, not to mention the cost! I shudder at the expenditure compounded throughout the year.   Also, please pass along my gratitude to the children and faculty of Immanuel Lutheran School.  The cards they made were very kind; the children were so thoughtful and intelligent.   I want to give special thanks to my brother-in-law, Bruce Masteller who has supported me during my career and accepted me into the family.  Once again, can you relay a special thanks to all the people who spent so much time packing, picking, and preparing the care packages?  During this deployment I realized more than last time that people around the world want the same things.  Regular people of other countries want happiness, prosperity, and peace of mind.  I’m privileged to be in this profession and I’m privileged to have received your organization’s generosity.  The next time I’m in Jefferson City I would be honored to meet the people responsible for making my deployment more bearable!

                                                                                                                 Sincerely,

                                                                                                                Master Sergeant Patrick J. Fanning
