George, here are some pictures I took yesterday at Curtis’s welcoming home celebration.  I’m also sending another email with links to face book of two short videos that were taken also.  It was a pretty good homecoming and everyone was really happy.  We celebrated on the way home at Golden Corral In Sedalia.  It was a great day.

Pershing’s Last Patriot: The Last Doughboy of World War I

Frank Woodruff Buckles, who was the last surviving veteran of World War I when he died on February 27, 2011, is having his life honored in a film called “Pershing’s Last Patriot: The Last Doughboy of World War I”. A screening of this film will be shown to the public on Friday, March 21st (7 PM) and Saturday, March 22nd (2 PM) at Calvary Lutheran High School (2525 Route B, Jefferson City, MO). There is a $5 per person admission fee which will go to the cost of the documentary’s final production and the preservation. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling 573-635-6922 or 573-690-6788.
