Special Sheet Shipment at the Post Office May 7, 2011

Four 18″x12″x12″ boxes weighting between 20 – 22 pounds were mailed this morning to Lindsey Landus.  The boxes contained: 16 new flannel sheet sets and two new regular sheet sets (each set contains a fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcase) and 9 single sheets. In addition, boxes were topped off with goodies for Lindsey and her co-workers.

Lindsey sent this message to me on Facebook the other day.  It looks like the Easter Shipment arrived late.  I’ve learned that we were sending to the wrong APO.  I’m glad the boxes ultimately got to her and hope that she got them all.

Here’s Lindsey on FB:

I just got your boxes yesterday. Thank you (and all your co-workers) for all the support. It really means a lot to my co-workers and I to get those boxes. I love sharing them with everyone I work with.

Thank you so much!

Know that these sheets will wrap our precious soldiers as they lie hurt and bleeding. Thanks and God Bless all of you.

PLEASE KEEP OUR SOLDIERS IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!

Our next collection for Independence Day will start May 23, 2011.
