At 1:45 pm on April 19, 2009, Tammy Boyer (aka Unicorn Girl) arrived at Lambert Airport into the loving arms of her mom Berni Mcguire, her brother Mark, Carol Biggerstaff, Janice Lauer, and myself.  It was an overwhelming honor and joy to hug and welcome home this precious young lady.

After corresponding with Tammy throughout her deployment, Tammy told her mom that she wanted to meet us.  Her mom kept our coming there a secret and we moved the banner we were holding across the hall away from her family so that she would not initially focus on us.

Above you see Tammy (in Purple) as she first sees her welcome home.  Her mother, brother, and Carol Biggerstaff are standing in this group.

First hug above went to her mom (standing just to left of Carol in red).

Brother Mark gets the next one – Carol now holding up the banner all alone for her to see.

Here’s another of Tammy hugging her brother Mark.

Carol gets a hug above.

Then she finds out who we are – above I get to meet and hug Tammy !

Janice gets her hug!

SHE’S HOME!

Please keep Tammy and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
