On Thursday, September 11, 2008, people from as far away as Sweden turned out to in Missouri’s Capitol to show their support for the brave young men and women who are risking their lives and sacrificing their personal lives and careers to defend us.

They also gathered to honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

The rain held off (for the most part) permitting the walk thru downtown Jefferson City to take place.  Click here for a flyer containing a map of walk.

Formal ceremonies were moved into the Capitol building rotunda afterwards.
